One of the worst customer experience I have received by a member of staff in here named Alvin, who is on reception. My membership was put in incorrectly by another member of staff, who was actually very helpful. Alvin, first of all was aggressive and asked me if I had the app which I was told I didn’t need, if I had my swipe. As I went to look at my phone, he grabbed it out of his hand to check himself if there was an app. Then on the phone he said in front of my face “he’s looking at me with a blank expression” on whether I had the app or not. Overall he made me feel very uncomfortable, and like I had done something wrong. The experience was awful. When I went into the gym on other occasions, I could sense some sort of aggression from him. And today which I was never told he ran over to stop me from working out and said I have to leave as I was wearing crocs. Which fair enough if it is a rule but I seen numerous people wearing in that gym. I will be now taking another 30 minute journey to rose bay gym, where the staff are lovely, not to return to this gym because of his actions.
Adequate equipment and set up but ventilation is never on in the mornings making the whole place humid. Ventilation never seems to be on in the bathrooms. Have emailed a few times but no one ever replies. If that was fixed would be a great gym
Trained here a few times purely for convenience as it’s located very close to work. I have found it to be very crowded & definitely lacking equipment compared to my home club. I also found it very concerning that members either use a face cloth as a sweat towel or no towel at all and I could only find 1 wipes bin in gym so I’m guessing this why I found very few members wiping equipment after use.
I really liked this gym.
Very clean, spacious and fully equipment.
Comparing it with other Anytime Fitness I think this is a higher level.
Could not recommend this gym less. there is way too many members and not enough equipment. you will spend half your time standing around.
Nice gym, friendly staff, can get busy at peak times due to the gym being quite small. However, plenty of equipment here despite it being small.
they were pretty expensive. Yeah, they've got quality as well
but should reduce a price as well
AF Bondi has been awesome to me. All staffs are exceptional, the overall vibe is great especially hygiene and I have had nothing but good experiences. I definitely recommended others to join this club.
